For my Fundamentals of Nursing class, every week
we learn new practical skills that we'll use in the
hopsital. I have a lab from 8-12 on Mondays and a
lecture every week as well. Then, sometime throughout
the week, we have to sign up to come in and practice
then demonstrate the skills for the lab assisstants.
They're call check offs. On Mondays, we check off
with our professors as well. We've learned a lot so far-
from removing sutures and staples to maintaining a
sterile field to wound dressings. This week, we
check off on nasogastric intubation and foley
catheterization. Christy and I took some pictures
while we were practicing, so you can see into our
little nursing world!

Wow, Holly. You've been busy!! You are so professional. Grandma must be so proud. But then we all are. And you are artistic on top of every other talent.
Love you!!
